Before you can start, open the bonnet of your Ford Focus. Begin by pulling the spark plug leads upwards to remove them.

Once you have removed all the leads, you will have access to the spark plugs that need replacing. Proceed to unscrew them using the appropriate spanner provided in the car's basic tool kit. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the spark plugs, and you will have finished the disassembly.

To fit the new spark plugs and close everything up, simply repeat these few instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
