First, lift the vehicle and locate the fuel filter along with the connecting pipes; place a container under the filter to catch any excess fuel, then disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes to remove the filter.

At this point, replace it with the correct new filter and refit it in position; check the condition of the pipes (if they are damaged, they must be replaced) and reassemble everything!
