Ford Focus - Video tutorial
Model: Ford Focus
MK 3
- Years 2011-2018 Timing belt on 2011 Ford Focus is strongly recommended within 150,000 km or 6 years of use. Even if many look only at the kilometers traveled, it is advisable not to postpone maintenance after many years of using the car as you risk serious damage to the engine. Similarly, some technical data sheets recommend changing at 200,000 km: even here, if in doubt, I strongly advise you to anticipate. Changing the timing belt usually costs around € 150, if you are an expert maintenance technician (this is a really complex operation) I am attaching a tutorial for the do-it-yourself change.
