Replacing EGR Valves on a Ford Transit

Remove the engine cover by lifting the bonnet and securing it. Then, using a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe and remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start unscrewing the EGR valve's fastening pins (if you encounter difficulties: lift the vehicle with a jack and remove the part from underneath).

Once the part is detached from its seat, unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. Clean the EGR valve or replace it with a new one of the same type and size.

Test the EGR valve by starting the engine.
