To remove the lever handle, use a flat-head screwdriver to insert into the side of the cover to release it from the clips, applying slight pressure. Fitting the new lever is straightforward; simply position it and push it into place. At this point, the replacement operation is complete. Be careful not to break the plastic piece that holds the end of the seat release cable, as this will prevent further assembly.
