How to Replace the External Door Handle on a Ford Focus?

To replace the external door handle on a Ford Focus, open the door and remove the rubber grommet located on its inner side. Once removed, you can loosen the bolt inside, which will allow you to slide out the lock. After the lock is removed, simply pull the handle outward and disconnect it from its connector. At this point, you can install a new handle, connecting it to the connector and inserting it into its housing. After the handle, the lock can also be inserted.
