To disassemble and replace the old airbag on the Ford Fiesta yourself, first disconnect the battery terminals to avoid the possibility of a short circuit. Prepare all the necessary materials for the job, such as a screwdriver and replacement parts to swap out the old airbag. Proceed to disassemble the steering column. Once the steering wheel is removed, turn the steering column towards you to work properly on the points where the airbag is secured, which are two metal pins inside two holes. At this point, take the screwdriver and use it to lever on these clips to remove the old airbag. Once the old airbag is removed, work in reverse to install the new airbag. Ensure it functions correctly.
