In this video, we will go over the main instructions for removing and replacing the rear brake shoes on a second-generation Ford Escape. First, lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheels; then, proceed to remove the drum by taking out the metal retaining clip and striking the drum. Next, disengage the mechanism and the spring that holds the shoes in tension; remove the two pins to extract and replace the shoes with new ones. Clean the backing plate and reinstall the new shoes, as shown in the video!
