Operation: How to replace the cabin air filter

The first step in replacing the cabin air filter is to remove the plastic panel in the pedal compartment. Unscrewing the single bolt you will have access to the internal hairpins of the panel, you have to pull hard to remove them. Once this first component has been removed, it will be possible to access the air filter housing, fixed by a single screw located in the lower right part. Once the screw has been removed, it is possible to detach the bar that protects the filter: then pull the old filter taking it out of the housing. It is advisable to disinfect the area to ensure safe and healthy operation once the new filter begins to work. To install the new filter, particular attention must be paid to positioning: the filter is directional, and the arrow drawn on the upper side indicates the direction of the air flow through the structure, so it must be positioned towards the car, pointing the passenger compartment of the passenger. To close the compartment, simply reposition the protective bar and then reassemble the plastic panel. Done!
