To replace the cabin filter on a Ford Explorer, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side and loosen the screws securing it in place. Once the screws are loosened, you can pull it out from its housing and access the components at the back.

Here, you will find the cover of the filter box, which needs to be removed to extract the filter inside. After removal, insert the new filter and refit all previously removed components.
