Before proceeding, it is important to disconnect the battery as an accidental airbag deployment can be very dangerous. Once this is done, locate the two holes on either side of the steering column cover, then insert a long screwdriver into them to release the two locks. After both sides are released, extract the airbag and disconnect the rear connector.
