How to Remove the Airbag from a Ford Fiesta

Is the airbag in your Ford Fiesta damaged? Let's see how to remove the airbag from above the steering wheel. This is a simple operation if done carefully.

Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Insert the screwdriver into the holes at the back of the steering wheel (on the side). Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel.

For reassembling the airbag: connect the power connectors, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until it locks in place. Reconnect the electrical connectors of the steering wheel.
