To permanently disable the Start&Stop feature on the Ford Ecosport, you need to install a module that automatically remembers the last position of the Start&Stop button, so it does not have to be manually deactivated each time. To install this module, locate the diagnostic connector behind the plastic panel at the bottom of the steering column, so the module can be connected to it. After the connection is made, you can mount the panel back to cover all components inside.
