Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Spark plugs

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold to safely handle the components in question. Once the cover is removed, blow out the ignition coil seats with compressed air to prevent dirt from entering the cylinders. Then disconnect the connectors from the ignition coils, unscrew the respective fixing screws, and extract the coils complete with the connectors. Apply the appropriate anti-oxidant lubricant to the connectors, clean the spark plug seats, and proceed with the disassembly; install the new spark plugs without exceeding the tightening torque and refit the connectors.
