Replacement of Car Coil

The role of the coil is to regulate the spark of the spark plugs. The following guide shows how to replace it. Purchase a coil from your trusted dealer, ensuring you bring the vehicle registration document. This document will help you identify the exact model of the car and thus the correct coil to replace. It is advisable not to buy a used coil but always a new one, as used ones can often cause problems. To remove the old coil, lift the bonnet and open the plastic grille by acting on the two side clips with a screwdriver. You need to remove the vapour recovery pipe, disconnecting the connector with the yellow lever. At this point, remove the ignition control unit connector and undo the two securing bolts with a ratchet spanner.
