In this video we will see how to remove the fuel pump control unit from a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi. We will find this component near the engine block, by opening the front hood. First, we need to unscrew the five screws that hold the control unit fixed to the hood, remove the electrical wires on the upper right side, and then, after lifting the control unit, we see that it is still connected through two small screws to the metal base, with the electronic connection part. Be very careful when disconnecting it. Of course, we will need to have it inspected by a specialized company, then we can put it back in place following the instructions in reverse.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?
