Replacing Glow Plugs on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

If you have issues with the glow plugs, it is best to replace them immediately. Pull the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Remove the engine cover panel, unscrew the securing screws on the sides of the coil; grasp the coil with your hands and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Unscrew the glow plug using a socket spanner. Install the new glow plug into the cylinder head, then reconnect the coil. Replace all damaged glow plugs.
