Instructions for Replacing the Front Headlamp

Model: Ford Ka MK 1 - Years 1996-2008

Replacing the front headlamp is a straightforward task, although there are some components to remove to allow for its extraction: you need to detach the plastic trim from the wheel arch and the front bumper to access the headlamp's mounting pins; once unscrewed, pull the headlamp away from its housing and disconnect the connectors (there is a metal clip that must be removed to disconnect the connector); then remove the bulbs complete with their holders (bayonet fitting) to fit them into the new headlamp. Complete the installation by tightening the mounting pins and refitting the trims.
