As shown in this tutorial, replacing the key fob battery of the Ford Fusion is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, obtain a replacement CR2032 battery and a small flathead screwdriver.

First, press the metal button on the top to extend the emergency key, then use the screwdriver in the indicated slot to unlock the back cover. Once you have access to the battery, remove it and insert the replacement, positioning it with the positive terminal facing up.
