Replacement of Fuel Filler Neck

The following guide shows how to replace the fuel filler neck. You may need to secure any corroded parts in some way, such as the fuel filler neck leading to the tank door. This operation is not complicated but can become frustrating and requires patience. To perform it, you will need a 1/4 inch ratchet and socket set, along with a flat-head screwdriver. Open the fuel door and unscrew the filler neck with the ratchet, then use the flat-head screwdriver to detach the fuel neck. There is a clip that secures the rubber hose to the tank, which should be worked by hand.
