Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 4, Be91, MK 4, MK IV - Years 1996-2002

To access the spark plugs, remove the fastening screws of the plastic cover on top of the engine, take off the oil cap, and then remove the cover; then pull out the leads connected to the spark plugs, but before proceeding with the removal of the spark plugs themselves, it is advisable to blow compressed air to eliminate any dirt that could enter the cylinders; once done, unscrew the spark plugs and install the new ones without exceeding the tightening torque; reposition the leads after cleaning them with electrical contact spray.
