In this short tutorial, you will see how to fold down the rear seats in a Ford Escape, a very simple operation to perform when you need more space in the trunk. First, open the right rear door, then move both outer headrests forward, lower the center headrest completely, and locate the lever on the lower outer side of the first seat.

Once you do this, pull it up, rotate the seat forward, and continue with the other two. To return everything to position, simply lift the seatbacks until you hear a click, which indicates they are locked.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
