To replace the instrument cluster on a Ford Focus, you need to loosen the screws securing the plastic cover around the cluster: these screws are located above the instrument cluster. Once the cover has been removed, you can unscrew all the screws underneath that secure the cluster in its housing.

This way, the instrument cluster can be extracted, and the connectors at the back will be disconnected. The new instrument cluster can then be connected to these connectors, which should be secured with screws and covered with the corresponding plastic panel.
