To replace the auxiliary belt on a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi, access the left side of the engine block next to the coolant reservoir. Here, you will find the tensioner, which can be moved by loosening its securing bolt. Once the bolt is loosened, you can slide the belt off the pulleys and replace it with the appropriate spare part. After the new belt is fitted, reposition the tensioner and close the car's bonnet.
