Ford Focus - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018
Part: V-belt
Operation: How to replace the V-belt on the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi?

To be able to replace the V-belt of the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi, you need to go to the left side of the engine block, next to the antifreeze reservoir. Here, the belt tensioner will be present, which can be moved by loosening its fixing bolt: once the bolt has been loosened, it will be possible to remove the belt from its pulleys and replace it with the appropriate spare part. After the new belt has been inserted, it will be possible to reposition the belt tensioner and close the front hood of the car.
