The first step is to secure the vehicle with the handbrake engaged, then turn on the ignition by placing the key in position 2; the second step is to simultaneously press the brake pedal and the accelerator for at least 15 seconds, at which point the light will flash indicating that the reset has occurred. The third step is to release the pedals; the fourth step is to turn off the ignition and wait a few minutes before turning it back on to check the correct reset.
