How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Transit

Let’s see how to reset the service light on a Ford Transit without a display menu. This is the classic Ford system using the pedal combination; press the accelerator and brake together, pushing both fully down. While holding the two pedals, turn the key to switch on the ignition. Continue to hold the two pedals for another ten seconds. During this time, the service light should flash and then turn off. At this point, the service light is reset. Turn off the ignition, wait a moment, then turn it back on and restart the engine to verify. This procedure works on many Ford Transit models prior to 2014.
