To replace the outside rearview mirror on a Ford F-150, remove the door panel corresponding to the mirror you need to replace. Detach the panel by unscrewing the screws located at the handle and near the window switch. Once the panel is removed, access the screws for the mirror, which must be removed. This will allow you to pull the mirror out from the outside so you can install a new one; reattach all removed parts.
