Changing the oil and the associated filter is a crucial maintenance task that helps increase the longevity of the engine and preserve its performance. In this guide, discover how to correctly change the oil in a 2014 Ford Fiesta. Before proceeding, remember that the entire operation must be carried out with the engine off and especially cold. Lift the car and locate the bolt that serves as the drain plug at the bottom of the engine bay. Unscrew it with a suitable spanner and place a container directly underneath. Allow all the old oil to drain out, then re-screw the plug. Next, remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. At this point, move to the top of the engine bay, open the oil filler cap, and pour in the new oil.
