In this brief tutorial, you will learn how to replace the battery on a Ford Focus mk3, produced from 2011 to 2018. To begin, open the bonnet; the battery is located at the top right. Lift the first battery cover to unclip and remove it, then use a 10mm socket to remove the battery bar and subsequently the second rear cover. Next, using a 10mm socket, first unscrew the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Finally, remove the windscreen frame using the appropriate fastening tab, and once all this is done, you can remove the old battery and replace it with a new one by following the procedure in reverse.
