To open the bonnet of the Ford Transit, pull the lever located inside the cabin, at the bottom left of the steering column. Once this lever is pulled, exit the cabin to release the catch in the lower central part of the bonnet, freeing it. This will allow you to lift the bonnet easily and secure it with the prop rod in the engine bay. To close the bonnet, simply lower it and ensure that the central catch engages with the corresponding pin, securing the bonnet.
