To open the bonnet of the Ford Transit Connect, move the manufacturer's badge located in the centre of the front grille: once this badge has been removed, you will be able to locate the lock underneath. Insert the ignition key into this lock and turn it counterclockwise to unlock it: you can then open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay. Lower it with sufficient force to ensure it closes properly.
