If you want to independently replace the battery in the key of your Ford Fiesta fourth series (1996-2002), simply follow these steps. First, get a small flat screwdriver and use it to separate the top part of the cover from the bottom part.

Then, take the bottom part and open it again using the same flat screwdriver. Finally, remove the old button battery and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the various parts correctly and test the key's functionality.
