How to Replace the Battery in a Ford Fiesta

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the battery in a Ford Fiesta. First, get inside the vehicle, engage the handbrake, and pull the bonnet release lever to open it. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; the battery is located on the right side of the engine bay. The required tools are a socket wrench with an extension and a 10 mm socket. Start by disconnecting the negative terminal first, as the entire car is connected to the negative terminal, which could cause sparks. Next, disconnect the positive terminal by lifting the red plastic cover. Using a 10 mm socket, remove the three nuts securing the battery protection cover. Once the cover is removed, slide off the front protection of the compartment. At this point, you can pull the battery out of its housing and replace it with a new one.
