To replace the window switch button on a Ford Focus, first remove the trim along the door handle, above which is the panel containing the button. After removing the trim, you can also detach the panel and disconnect the connector underneath connected to the button.

Once disconnected, pull the button out from the panel to insert the new one; after insertion, reconnect the button and secure the panel back into its housing.
