In this brief and simple guide, you will find instructions on how to dismantle and replace the tailgate lock or boot lock on a Ford Ecosport. First, open the tailgate and start removing the tailgate panel by unscrewing all the securing screws.

Then, unscrew the screws of the lock module, disconnecting the electrical connector as shown in the video. Now install the new lock module using the original replacement; finally, reassemble the internal trim!
