In this video, we see how to deactivate the passenger airbag on a Ford C-Max. This will be useful if we need to transport a child in the front seat, as an activated airbag could be very dangerous for their safety. We open the glove compartment and see a clearly visible access where the words "passenger airbag" are written. We will see that the lock is positioned on the "ON" label. With the car key (or with the emergency key enclosed in the remote control), we can move the lock to the "OFF" position. When the car is turned on, a yellow writing saying "passenger airbag off" will appear in the center of the dashboard, which will remain on until you have returned the lock to the correct position.
