How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of a Ford C-Max

Model: Ford C Max MK 2 - Years 2010-2019

To change the battery of the key fob for the Ford C-Max, take the fob and locate the slot along the edge of the casing. Insert a coin or a small flat screwdriver and gently pry apart the two halves without damaging them. Once open, locate the button cell battery (usually type CR2032) and remove it, taking care of the orientation. Insert the new battery respecting the polarity indicated inside the compartment. Close the fob by pressing the two parts together until they click. Press the buttons to check that the fob works correctly.
