To replace the battery on a Ford C-Max, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay on the left side. First, disconnect the negative terminal to avoid short circuits, then the positive terminal. Remove the securing bracket or screw that holds the battery in place and lift it out carefully. Now, insert the new battery into the same housing, ensuring it is properly positioned, then reattach the bracket. Reconnect the terminals starting with the positive and then the negative. Close the bonnet and start the engine to check that everything works correctly.
