Removing the Airbag on a Ford C Max

Learn how to remove the steering wheel airbag on a Ford C Max. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the plastic cover at the top of the steering wheel to insert a screwdriver behind it. Insert a screwdriver into the back of the steering wheel: there are holes behind the steering wheel cover. Once the airbag (driver's side) is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Fit the new airbag onto the steering wheel of the car. Connect the power connectors, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until it locks completely.
