Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 5, MK 5, MK V - Years 2002-2008

The cabin air filter is located just behind the centre tunnel, and to replace it, access is required from the driver's side. Remove the plastic cover that conceals the side of the tunnel and, importantly, remove the accelerator pedal. Unscrew the fixing pins of the accelerator pedal from its bracket, remove it from its position to provide enough manoeuvring space to access the filter housing, unscrew the fixing screws of the cover, and extract the old filter. Ensure all dirt is cleared from inside the filter housing and insert the new one, reassembling everything in reverse order.
