To remove the centre console cover of the dashboard, first extract the gear lever gaiter by unclipping the frame at the base and then lifting the gaiter upwards. Next, detach the passenger side airbag control panel located just above the climate control buttons to free the edge of the console cover that is at an angle. You can then proceed to remove the console cover, starting by unclipping the edges beneath the gear lever and working your way around the climate control buttons.
