To replace the gear knob on a Ford Fiesta, grasp the old knob so that it can be rotated. You will need to hold the leather covering of the lever, which is located under the knob.

Once the knob is detached from its housing, use a tool to pry off the clips at the base of the covering. After removing the old covering, insert the new one and secure the clips at the base.

Then, you can fit the new knob by screwing it on properly.
