In this brief guide, we will see how to reset the maintenance light, which indicates the remaining oil life, on a fifth-generation Ford Explorer, produced from 2011 to 2019. First, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Next, press the left arrow button to open the side menu on the information display, then select "settings", followed by "vehicle", and finally the option for oil life remaining.

Once there, press and hold the "OK" button on this last screen to perform the reset.
