To replace the fuel pump on a Ford Focus, you must completely remove the fuel tank from its housing. To do this, lift the car to access the components underneath. Remove all the fastening screws of the tank, along with the pipes and connectors related to the sensors. This will allow you to fully slide the tank out of its housing, revealing the pump at the top. You can now extract it by disconnecting the connectors and replacing it with a new one.
