When the engine warning light illuminates on the dashboard of the Ford Fiesta, it indicates a generic problem with the car's injection system: to identify the issue, perform a scan using an OBD scanner, which should be connected to the designated port located at the bottom left of the steering column.

Once the scanner is connected, you can identify the damaged component, replace it, and clear the errors in the ECU using the scanner.

Then, turn on the dashboard to verify that the light has been correctly reset.
