Replacing the engine air filter on this car model is not a straightforward task as the filter housing (Air Box) is integrated into the plastic cover on the engine. First, open the front bonnet and remove the 10 mm bolts securing the engine cover, then disconnect the vacuum hoses and remove the cover. Place the plastic box upside down on a work surface and unscrew all the screws to open it. Extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, and fit the new one, ensuring the seal adheres correctly before reassembling and refitting it in reverse order.
