In this video, we see how to repair the seat lever of a 3-door Fiesta MK6: the first thing we need to do (although it is not indicated in the video, but mentioned in the comments) is to disconnect the negative pole of the battery to prevent the side airbag from exploding. Then, we can proceed by unscrewing the bolts to remove the seat; we also remove the electrical connectors. Once we have removed the seat from the car, we unscrew the seat cushion to access the seat folding mechanism, which has been damaged; using a cord, we retrieve the tension lace and reconnect it to the mechanism from where it had detached, then we place the new control button in its place. We reassemble the seat after verifying its functionality. We reconnect the battery and the job is done.
