Then, proceed to unscrew the bolts to remove the seat; also disconnect the electrical connectors. Once the seat is out of the car, unscrew the seat base to access the folding mechanism, which has been damaged; use a rope to retrieve the tension strap and reconnect it to the mechanism where it came loose, then replace the new control button. Refit the seat after checking its functionality. Reconnect the battery and the job is complete.
