Oil and Filter Change on a Ford Transit Van

In this video, you will learn how to change the oil on a Ford Transit van: open the oil filler cap, then go underneath (there is no need to lift the vehicle as there is plenty of space) and locate the oil sump which has a clearly visible plug, for which you will need a 13mm spanner; next to it is the filter cap which requires a 36mm spanner. Obtain a suitable container to drain the oil, which you will then dispose of at an authorised centre. The oil is SAE 5W30. Remove the filter; some oil will also drain here. Separate the filter from the cap and replace both the filter and the seal. Refit the cap with the seal to the sump (ensure that the seal is changed, and possibly the cap as well) and then proceed to pour the new oil into the reservoir. The operation is complete.
