How to Replace the Dipped Beam and Position Bulbs

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

To replace the dipped beam and position bulb in the Ford Focus, go behind the headlamp, unclip the cover by gently pulling it down, lower the cover and remove it; after removing the cover, disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb, unclip the bulb from the headlamp and take it out, remembering the orientation; once the bulb is removed, insert the new bulb into the headlamp in the same position as the old one, refit the clip that holds it in place, reconnect the electrical connector, and move on to the position bulbs; to remove the position bulbs, pull out the bulb holder, disconnect the bulb from the holder, take the new bulb, reconnect it as the old one, and reinsert it into its socket; now check the correct operation, replace the cover behind the headlamp, and reconnect the clip that secures the cover.
