This guide shows how to reset the radio in a Ford Focus MK2. If the battery dies or needs replacing, you will need to unlock the radio with a 4-digit code. This code is usually provided by the dealer when you purchase the car, but if lost, you can retrieve it by pressing buttons 1 and 6 for three seconds.

Information related to the audio system will appear on the screen, and eventually, a code preceded by the letter "V" will be displayed. This is the code you need.

Download the "Ford Radio Code" app on your phone, follow the steps indicated, and enter the code found in the vehicle. The app will provide the code to input using the radio dial, pressing button 1 for the first digit, button 2 for the second, and so on. Confirm by pressing 5.
